Anlo Rural Bank donates to five health facilities in Keta and Anloga district

Anlo Rural Bank one of the indigenous bank in Anlo with its headquarters at Anloga also joined the fight against the deadly epidemic COVID 19.

The Bank as part of its social responsibility activities has donated items worth Five Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty (GH¢5740.00) to some five health facilities in the Keta and Anloga District.

Some items given to these facilities are nose mask, latex hand gloves, hand sanitizers, veronica buckets.

Beneficiaries of the gesture are Anloga Health Center, Tegbi Health Center, Keta Municipal Hospital, Welspan Health Center and Sacred Hospital Abor.
Each facility was given 150 pieces of nose mask, 250 latex hand glove, 2 boxes of hand sanitizer and 2 veronica buckets.

Doctor Antoinette Ekuban, Keta Municipal medical superintendent who received the items on behalf of the hospital express her gratitude to the management of the bank and request more support from the general public to help them in this period, she further advice the public and stress on all the safety precautions to be taken serious that is regular hand washing, social distancing, use of hand sanitizer etc to be safe.

She, also encourage the public not to panic although the virus is scarring but preventable if all the measures were taken and also in case of any suspected case the person should be rush a nearby health facility for examination.

Speaking to the general manager of the bank Mr. Gideon Odei, he said it is important they support the health workers because they are the front liners of the pandemic and must also be protected if case of any suspected case dictated they can be ready to manage it. He further advice the general public, civil society organizations to also  do well to support the hospital in the difficult time.
